Salt Powered Truck

Turn salt water into actual power with this easy to build kit.

This truck is powered entirely by salt water, using a simple chemical reaction to create movement. The truck is easy to slot together, with some help needed to assemble all the pieces. Once build, a simple dose of salt water will make it move.

The set includes the truck body, four wheels, a spoon, an axle with a gear, a battery cartridge, a sachet of active carbon, a motor with wires and contacts, a dropper, a cup, four magnesium sheets, four fabric sheets, two copper sheets and instructions.

A great way to see movement happen and for older children, an opportunity to understand power sources and chemicals.
