Parachute Twist Wooden Music Box - a thrilling ride full of twists and turns, ups and downs and a wonderful view on the way.

This stunning moving model is also a music box, with a tune that will bring back the feeling of being at the funfair. The model is made using superbly laser cut pieces that will slot together and build the 3D structure. The excellent step by step instructions show how to use each of the 184 pieces, gradually building from the centre outwards in a project that will take approximately five hours to complete.

Once built, the mechanism will allow the teacups to twirl and move whilst the lights flash and the music plays. There are also wonderful little details across the design with fairground themes which make the whole model look really authentic.

These kits are recommended for 14+, as they are not toys, and require some patience to complete. However, once they are working, they make a really impressive display.

This is a complex model for someone 14+ as it is not designated as a toy. Younger people could attempt this with some supervision, but it requires some previous experience of this type of kit.
