How Cars Work

How Cars Work doesn't tell you the answer, it shows you through interactive models that you need to build.

Each page takes a working element from a car and explores it, asking you to build a working model of the technique. By placing the strong card pieces on the grid work you can build models showing gears, valves, windscreen wipers and more. As you build the models, you will see how the components work in isolation and how they all come together to form a whole car.

A really involved read where you get to create models that really explain the machine. We learnt a great deal ourselves!
