Lemon Clock

Who knew a lemon could tell the time?

The Lemon Clock is a brilliant hands-on science experiment that lets children discover how everyday fruit can be used to generate electricity and power a working digital clock.

Simply connect the supplied copper and zinc plates to your own lemon, attach the wires and LCD clock, and watch as your fruity power source brings the display to life! It's a fascinating introduction to batteries, electricity and the science behind how different materials can produce an electrical current.

The fun doesn't stop with lemons, either. Children can explore the science further by experimenting with other suitable fruit and vegetable-based power sources, discovering how different materials affect the results.

Perfect for curious minds and budding scientists, this clever little kit makes learning about electricity exciting, practical and wonderfully unexpected. Who needs batteries when you've got a lemon?
